STX Pan Ocean is expanding its fleet and reinforcing
its cost and service competitiveness by continuously
securing new ships.
STX Pan Ocean successfully took possession of the STX
Frontier (LNG carrier) as well as the STX Azalea and STX
Harmony (Handysize bulkers) in June. These ships will
belong to the company’s Liner Business Division and
Pacific Business Division. STX Pan Ocean is planning to
reinforce its business capability in the Pacific and Oceania
regions with the new ships and will provide stable service
and improve profitability.
STX Pan Ocean increased its private carriers to 81 ships
through this fleet expansion. The company’s fleet consists
of 48 bulkers, 20 tankers, 8 container ships, 3 PCTCs, 1 LNG
